Super Junior's Shindong impressed ELFs with his new look. Instead of dying his hair, growing some facial hair or what not, Shindong came back with a visible V-Line.
"Shindong has been showing interest in losing weight so we allowed him." Said the SM Entertainment representative. "It was breach of contract but after weighing our options, we decided this is for the best."
SM Entertainment explained that having Shindong slim down would not only help them cut costs in making his concept clothes (his clothes used to need 1.5x more resources than the others) but also lessen the chance of him extending his military service when time comes. Rule in the military is that if you're overweight, you stay longer.
"We're making sure Shindong stays faithful to his diet." SM representative added. "These drastic weight loss perfectly healthy. So far, he has only fainted twice since he started his diet; better results than we imagined."
Shindong has currently been updating his fans with a 'Diet Diary.' And together with the other active Super Junior members, he is promoting Mr. Simple.
